How to Register for an Account at NCSU Scalar

You will need to register for an account with scalar.chass.ncsu.edu (“NCSU Scalar”) to create your own private Lenses. Please note that Bodies and Structures runs through a local (NCSU) install of Scalar. Even if you have already registered with another Scalar install (e.g., USC), you will need to register again and create a new account at scalar.chass.ncsu.edu to use all of the features of Bodies and Structures.

Registering is easy

To register and create an account, simply click on “Register” in the Account drop down menu. Follow the instructions on the screen to request a registration key.* Once you have received a registration key, return to the registration screen to create an account.

* Registration keys will be sent to users with .edu or international equivalent email addresses (e.g., .ac.jp, .edu.sg). If you encounter an issue with the registration form or do not have an .edu or international equivalent email address, please contact the editors at bodiesandstructures [at] gmail.com.
