This is the advertisement by a variety shop, Kiryū Chin Shōten. The main store is located in Keelung (Ch. Jilong), which the branch office is on Ishigaki Island. The shop is selling various things, including Woolong tea, soda pop, snacks, bamboo hand bags, and other miscellaneous goods. While Ishigaki's commercial business developed as the commercial satellite of the colonial city, Taipei, Yaeyama Islanders obtained modern products through shops in Taiwan or branches of Taiwan shops.
